I have been working for 2 weeks trying to get my 2001 340DA out of Key West and up to my home on the space coast. Anyone know of anyone who works the lower keys. I have no trailer and need someone who has the proper trailer to haul it but can't get any transporter to call me back or they say there not interested. I'm at a loss can anyone point me in the right direction?

Hire a captain to run it up on its own bottom if you don't have the time - by the time you pay for the haul out/re-launch the price may compare favorably

I agree with the other post - hire a Captain to bring it up. If not, PM and I will give you the name, email address and phone number of the trucker who brought my 400 up from Key Largo

Couldn't you do that over a weekend? Unless you just don't have time or the boat is broke. I couldn't stand it, I would have to "Captain" that up my self...lol

Transportation by truck is really the only option (I will be travelling quite a bit so I cant get down there myself)....it would require almost $2000 in gas plus the expense of the captain (and whatever might go wrong on the way). It is a fraction of that to move by truck, I just have not had good luck dealing with the brokers as they just give the quote and no one shows up when they say they will and again I get no calls back. Just hoping someone on here might know somebody or know of a source that's more reliable then I've run into.

I own a transportation brokerage in the Atlanta area. The problem you face is the move via truck will require specialized equipment and a drayage company on the shipping end to load the boat on to the trailer. I can help you out with this move, but I must tell you I doubt it will be cheap. I will likely have to dead head a truck from Miami down as trucks don't go into the Keys unless they have a backhaul out of there.

I will PM you my contact info. Give me a call, just need a few details and I will get you a couple quotes and transit times.
