Was in the marina when CSR Cod called “ did you hear the sirens?” Looked out the boat and then jumped into the dinghy!,!!! The “W” yacht apartently belongs to the Weathertech Guy or Co. The Gas boat was gassing up at the fuel dock when the fire broke out the boat was “pushed “ into the yacht “W” when the water was directed into the hull causing mega damage to the “W”.

On a better note, the Yacht beside her was non other than “MY SEANNA” from below deck ( not damaged) Capt Lee ‘s boat

Ouch, hope no one was hurt. Also hope he has enough insurance to cover that damage. Not that the yacht had a chance, but you have to keep your head on a swivel at the fuel dock. I liken it to those animals drinking at waterholes. Not just worrying what you’re doing but also what the other guy is doing. Almost got rammed by a sailboat this past season while fueling up. Had to quickly fend him off.

Last Summer we were anchored off the beach and watched a small bowrider full of (I'll call them) millennials. The wheel was turned full to port and the boat was at idle running in a circle with nobody at the helm. The kids were dancing and each was holding a beer bottle, some with a bottle in each hand. They finally sat down and zoomed closely past other boats at anchor. I did catch part of the registration number but it all happened quite fast.

There was a front page news article with a color picture the next day. It described a boat fire at a local marina. The boat was burned to the waterline, except for a few feet of the bow. It was them!!

Last year was a disappointing year for boating. After 2 weekend cruises, we only went out on weekdays for the rest of the summer.

WOW... I was up the river just hanging out on the dock and heard it on the radio. I almost jumped into the dink to come have a look but decided against. Glad no one was hurt.
