Well last weekend went to Catawba Island looking for boats. Might ride up to Erie, PA tomorrow. Anyone know of any dealers up there to check out? Looking mainly at 1998-2006 260, 270, or 280 Sundancers but would consider other similar brands. Did a search today on yachtworld and only about 7 results within 100 miles of me and only about 3 of those were what we were looking for...lol

6-7 sun dancers of various age on Craigslist in Syracuse NY area. Range looks to be 10-70k 1990-2012s

Skipper Buds is in Marblehead OH. I bought my 400 Sedan Bridge through them. My boat was up at their Sturgeon Bay WI location but I used my local guy, Jack Caran, for the deal. (They also have a location here in Winthrop Harbor where I am docked). They have a number of locations on the Great Lakes. Look them up or I can give you Jack’s number to help you get started.

I was at the Marblehead location last week but they didn't have anything. Not sure about the Syracuse site. My wife won't buy anything sight unseen so can't get too far away.

Have tried local craigslist, boatshopper, yachtworld, boattrader, forsalebyownerboats.net, and have the word out at local marinas.

+1 on Skipper Buds. One nice thing about working with them is that they can arrange for delivery between their locations as part of the "deal". They are all over the place on the Great Lakes it seems. I purchased a 340 out of a Skipper Buds in Ohio and they brought it to me in Grand Haven, MI with zero stress.

Off topic - I stayed at the Skipper Buds Quarterdeck marina in Sturgeon Bay a couple weeks back. A really great place. I'd love to go back someday.

They won't bring a boat from one site to another unless there is a signed deal? I can't imagine they would without a signed contract. I would have a hard time convincing my wife to buy anything without seeing it beforehand. Especially after the last 5 or 6 we saw. Pics looked great but boats were very deprived looking once we saw them.
