I have been a car nut all my life. However, after purchasing my first boat, all my spare thoughts have been on boating and daydreaming about being on the water.

I'm sure you've seen the show "Car Crazy" on SPEED CHANNEL. I wish someone would produce a show called "Boat Crazy". I'd be hooked!!!!!
 
That show car crazy cracks me up. Its the only show where you can see big white teeth from start to finish :grin: That guy sure does like to put on a HUGE smile!

I've often thought the same thing! Probably not enough of an audience out there since shows like this typically run on weekends- when we are all on the water :thumbsup:

+1, think they are his? He knows his cars though. I just discovered we now get the speed channel in HD, life was good, now it's better.
 
They have a program out here on Florida cable called "Ship Shape TV" which is a guy who takes mostly older boats and fixes them up. Shows you the vendors and how to install the products from little Boston Whalers to I think it is a 1980 50' that he has. I have that show on TiVO

Now that would be cool. Like a "This Old House" except for boats! Guess I'll just have to spend my evenings with my DIY magazine instead...

Thats a different show. They guy with the crazy mustache is Dennis Guage(sp?).

I hear what the OP is saying though. My mind goes back and forth between Boats, Trucks and Cars. My heads going to explode one day. :lol:

I've always though that the day i get a hold of a diesel to put in my boat is the day everyone will see the first boat with a smoke stack. Im talkin pullin truck style. right through the engine cover. :grin:

Pftt.

Get into flying. Then between cars, boats, and planes, you head will explode. Or, if you really want to give everyone a headache, become an audiophile and try to explain why a $50 boom box isn't good enough and why your CD player costs $3000.

Then your wife will kill you for taking up yet another expensive hobby.

I never really got big into that monster sound system stuff. The stock radio with a single 12 & 700w does it for me. Why drown out the sound of the magnaflows? :lol:
