Boarding Ladder

Our slip is a little bigger than it needs to be, and leaves a couple of feet between the boat and the dock.

I just looked in my marine catalog, and the boarding ladders I saw were crazy expensive.

Any cheap options out there?

Why not tie your lines on the oposite side of the dock a little longer and use your fore and aft spring lines to keep your boat about 12" off the dock?

Could always try this option but could cost more than just going to local hardware store and making an custom alluminum boarding ladder.
