We keep our boat in Washington State and live in Canada. We are Canadian citizens. Does any one know if US Customs will let us into US to go to our boat? Can US Boaters enter Canada in their boat? Can Canadian boaters enter US in their boat?

Here, we have friends that own cottages and boats on the Canadian shore of Lake Erie and they can not go there. They had to hire landscapers via phone to cut the grass.
We have several Ontario boats that winter store at the U.S. yard we store at and they are still sitting there in shrink wrap.

Northern, the short answer to your question is "No".

I'm going to PM you with some interesting info to read.

Take a boat to your boat and get it out of there. Just don't set foot on land and you were never in the US. :)

Also, this might be really bad advice.

We're wondering if we will be able to go to Canada this summer, and when.

j98052, I'd bet the answer to that would be "not until the US and Canada agree to open the borders."

If you try to play games with CBP during this COVID mess I'm getting their tempers are pretty short. I wouldn't want to test the system.

On top of that, many small Canadian and Alaskan towns do not want visitors. They have very limited medical facilities and don't want outsiders bringing in any germs.

Thank you all for the information GFC sent me to a very good site that provide lots of information. It looks like you boat where your boat is and do not cross the boarder. We are not where our boat is so we do not boat.
