I have a 2000 400 SB and the blower fans have stopped working. The light on the control panel comes on but neither fan is working. Their seems to be a fan module some place and that looks like it the common component for both fans. I reset the breakers. Does anyone know where that is?

You might look in the Area "Aft Bulkhead" and see if there are two 4" Hoses on each side of the Boat! they pull the Air out , That's all the Engine air in the Engine Room prior to Engine Startup!!!--- Those Motors "one of them" are inside the 4" Hose on one side of the Boat the other Motor is on the other side inside that 4" Hose.(at lease there on mine 00' 340)

I'm not sure where it is on your boat, it may be in the ER, under your dash or behind your electrical panel in the salon. If you can't locate it (and even if you can) make sure both switches are on and then check for DC voltage at the blower motor terminal. If you've got voltage then the blower module is not the problem and it's likely both blowers need to be replaced. If your engines and/or generator starts I would not expect there to be a problem with the blower module.

Tom - I had both my motors fail about 5 days apart. The light came on at the switch and I had voltage at the motors, so I knew my motors had failed. In my case, the light coming ON on the switch meant the relay was OK...

I got them both at Fle-Bag $27 Each !

The engine room blowers are integrated with the boat's fire suppression system. There is a module that is simply a host of relays that the engines, blowers, and generator are routed through. Should the Halon system get discharged, power to operate the relays in that module is removed and the engines, generator, and blowers consequently shut down. That bypass switch on the helm is to enable the relay module so the engines, blowers, and generator can be restarted and operated after a Halon discharge. I had a relay go bad in the module on my 400DA and the generator sometimes would run and sometimes simply shut down and sometimes simply would not start. It took me several months to get that one sorted out.... A new module was like $250 or something like that. Something to look into should you find that there is no power at the blowers. Xintex Fire Boy makes the module - this is a pic of it.
