Wenr down to boat yesterday and by accident left service manuals on helm seat. Normally i would lock everything in cabin, but recently and very suddenly lost my beloved American Bulldog (Trog) :smt013 . Had actually been removing his life jacket and amongst other things back to home.
so was a bit upset, now i know the breed is not for everyone but he was the best dog i have ever had the pleasure of he kept the cancer hidden until the day he got put to sleep. he was only off colour 2 days prior so a real shock.
Realise i have gone off subject, but as mention earlier left manuals on seat, as had water pump problem.
Whats annoying me is that it took 8 months to get correct ones and to be honest nobody in marina has 5.7 mercs v drives., cost a few ££s as well, just took it in spite, maybe i might seee them on ebay. know i should of locked them in cabin but mind all over place at moment.

Sorry to hear about your beloved dog first of all. The loss of a pet is a very trying experience. I am also sorry to hear some thieves made off with your manuals. I hope you can get them replaced soon.

Here is a link that might help you with the water pump rebuilding. I can't be sure, but even though the write up covers the Bravo (outdrive) water pump, I would think your 5.7 liter V-drive would be the same or at least similar. http://www.outboardmarine.com/rebuild_bravo_raw_waterpump.html

Here in the US, "Bloomin" is too weak of a word to describe the thief that went onto your boat and stole your stuff.... :smt013

Also, sorry about the loss of your pet....

Thanks Dave for link, will see if i can express another manual from states.

My boat is named after my dog Troggles hence the username as his name was Trog, as chosen by my children. Even though i have only had the boat for over a year, he loved coming on board, loved sitting at the helm, taking everything in, he was such a gentle giant, never quite got used to walking on the pontoon though so much happier when on board. Being on board again will be strange without him. In time will probably get another American Bulldog, but he will never be able to be replaced. I know when i first got him nearly 7 tears ago, people were shocked that they thought i had an american pitbull but on meeting him everybody admired him. As soon as get boat sorted going to scatter some of his ashes on the river were we used to get moored up, as he loved exploring there.

Sorry to go off subject guys, know this is about boats not dogs
