Block Island on Labor Day

We had a 4 night reservation for Wed - Labor Day, but of course not going. The marina was very professional about it, they said "we want you back again", and agreed to apply our deposit ($550) towards another visit either this year or next.

disreguard,,, i found your other post i have to find out about my ins co policy now i would feel better pulling her but $400 or $1000 deductible?? i dont know a new boat would be nice:grin: sorry havana!!!
 
Well, obviously the weather put a damper on the trip. We did have one hell of a dock party though! What did everyone else end up doing?
 
As a follow-up to the Block Island Boat Basin - they were great - at first, they said we'd be able to apply the deposit to next season, but then they just decided to mail back deposit money to everyone. We got a big check in the mail a few weeks after labor day!!!!
 
That is good business and goes a long way.........It is easier for them when they close out their year to have off the books. Happy New Year
