Just purchased a new 2010 Sundancer 310 with a black hull. I have a few questions on how I can keep this baby's hull looking showroom new:

1. Is it wise to use fender covers - do they really work?
2. Does anyone have any suggestions for what to do/not do with a black hull?

Thank you!!

We have a dark blue hull and it's a PITA to keep clean and looking new. Fender covers do help, also get fender & covers of the same color as hull. Seems dark hulls need to be waxed more often. I have a black sports car, someone told me black is not a color, it's a hobby!! Now I know what they were talking about!!!

Good luck is all I can say! I would wax the thing every chance you get and try to avoid anything touching it.

I use a quick detail spray and microfiber cloths after i wash the boat and dry it. you wax something black then you see all the wax dust. Maguires makes one it works really well you can get it at wal mart or auto stores. black is a job not a hobby. Good luck
