Birthday Upper Keys trip

Turning 50 next month, going with wife on a boat trip for a week. what you think about itinerary, and any suggestions on restaurants or stuff to do?

getting on the boat late afternoon in North Miami, going to Rusty Pelican to drop anchor for night and dinner.

next day to Key Largo, staying at Marina Del Mar for a couple nights, dinner at Skipper’s Dockside, Gilbert’s and/or Snapper’s

then Cruise down to Islamorada for a few days, staying at Postcard Inn Holiday Isles Marina, Lorelei's one night at least.


cruise back to Miami,

thoughts / ideas?

You gotta go to Lor-E-Lei for sunset but it is a little tricky leaving at night. Check out La Siesta resort, we have stayed there several times and it was great. They are part of Postcard resorts too. They have a marina on the bay side with a killer tiki bar for folks staying there. They have slips on the oceanside too, but I like the bayside better. My favorite place in the world....
