Binge Worthy?

Her career has been doing really well. She was on Bad Teachers, and Last Man Standing with Tim Allen, and a bunch of other shows.
Now, I don't claim to really know her, I was close to her mom growing up, but we have all moved to different states over the years.

She was pretty good in Justifed too.

I binged Breaking Bad a few winters ago and loved it. As a result, I became a regular viewer of Better Call Saul. It started out pretty good, but slowed down quite a bit as the season went on.
i agree on Better call saul, i quit watching it a few seasons ago. Just started on season 4 last week.... the episode i watched last night was awesome..... Jimmy is selling drop phones because he lost his license. He has a friend get arrested for assault on a Police officer.... the way he handles it is priceless

Another series I am watching is Manhunt on Spectrum - it's about the 1996 Atlanta Olympic park bombing and how Richard Jewell was railroaded in the media and the search for Eric Rudolph. Interesting to me since I grew up in western NC and am familiar with Murphy NC. I later lived in Atlanta, we went to a number of Olympic events and in fact we were in the park that night with my wife, her parents and my then 3yr old daughter. We left hours before the bomb went off, but I can remember and still picture the whole area.

I do like Better call Saul and a few others mentioned above. I watch these at night. As for binge watching during the daytime, I watch CNBC. Great opportunities for day trading right now with all the volatility in the markets. Might as well make a few boat bucks while there's nothing else to do.

My viewing tastes skew toward sci-fi, so keep that in mind for my suggested viewing list.

The Expanse
Altered Carbon
Travelers
Locke and Key
Dark Matter (if you can find it - SyFy original)
Marvelous Mrs. Maisel
Sense8
Man in the High Castle
Jack Ryan
The Crown
Stranger Things
Broadchurch (UK-based version)
Star Trek (Next Generation, Enterprise, DS9)

Mrs Maisel
Ozark
After life
Jack Ryan
Lost in space
Fleabag (prime?)
New Picard (star trek series)
West world (lots of nudity, typically not sexual though, oddly enough)
Tiger King (not recommending this one yet, only episode 2, and we live in a town, in Florida, of course, that just shut down a tiger cub petting zoo)
Schitt’s Creek (super funny after you get to know the characters).

Watched all 8 episodes of 11-22-63 saturday on hulu.I read the book last winter and the series was pretty good ,even the wife watched.Steven King can write .

Outsider, another Stephen King TV series. Great acting, Jason Bateman, Ben Mendelsohn, etc.
Homeland is good as well.

Crap, the Don Lewis guy on Tiger King who disappeared mysteriously, went to high school in Dade City, FL, where I grew up. And someone who is on the show, I think Don’s first family before he married Carole Baskins, is also from this area, AND we have a zoo here, Dade City Wild Things that had their tiger cubs forcibly removed, they tried to ship their cats to the Tiger King to try and avoid the judges order. Don’t watch!! If you do, don’t complain to me!! LOL.

Schitts Creak on Netflix is good, light comedy, 22 minute episodes, 5seasons. Season 6 is coming soon.
If you have a Roku, you can also find it on Pluto. occasional ads, but the seasons are generally free. Amazon Prime also has the first few seasons. Eugene Levy at his best. Must watch from S1E1, or you won't get the premise. Season 6 is final.

Into season three of Homeland. Quite binge worthy and damn scary to think this comes remotely close to how the CIA actually works! I know, its just TV

We're been watching British shows for a while. Some one's we've liked:
  • Poldark
  • The Crown
  • Victoria
  • Grantchester. We really like this one.
We also recently started watching "Only Murders in the Building" on Hulu. Just finished season 1; worth a watch.

If you like Star Trek, Strange New Worlds is excellent. IMO, the best of the new Trek series; way better than Discovery with it's arch and overly dramatic acting and Picard with it's disappointing storyline. And this is from a big Trek fan.

Lower Decks is an animated Trek show that's on the crude side, but amusing and pokes fun at the Trek universe.

We are in Season 4 of Ozark. Was slow going at first for us - not due to lack of interest - just the intensity. We finally got to the point of being able to watch 2 episodes on weekend nights and 1 episode weekday nights.

Expect that we will finish this weekend. Will be an all out push - College Football starts soon...

It does, it does….2 weeks…

Netflix……The Watcher….pretty suspenseful
The Lincoln Lawyer…..good drama

What I find fun is identifying characters in these series that are true actors, people that have been in the business for years, that have done theatre, that have had parts in series over the years but haven’t had the big break, that have been the supporting cast.
For example, the lead in The Watcher may be recognized as Lewis the Clown in Modern Family. The real estate agent was the Masseuse in Seinfeld.
And most veteran supporting actors have been in at least one episode of Law and Order. Some have had three or four different parts.

On second episode of the new third season of jack ryan. ….. so far so good.
Its a good show but too easy to binge watch through. I need to pace myself.
Yellowstone is back too. We are watching it weekly rather than saving up. Waited too long to wait longer.
