I was planning on going this weekend but weather is a bust. Next weekend is Memorial day and I don't do amature hour in SoFlo. Next opportunity is is first or second weekend in June right now. I already have a reservation at Resorts World we like to stay in Fishermans Village. I will be doing Bimini runs from Ft Lauderdale all summer at least once a month. I am doing a 10 day trip to Eleuthera in July. Have you made the run before?anyone one interested in doing a Bimini run this summer? i would entertain a weekend trip as well as a weeklong trip
Enjoy, we are heading there July 8th for a night then on to the Eleuthera, Chub and back for 10 days. You are going to love it just be patient with customs and immigration still a shit show even with click 2 clear. Just remember you are on “Island Time”.....Crossing over next weekend on a friend's 650fly, leaving out of LHP early 7/2. Slip at RWB and returning on Monday the 5th. Will be my first time in Bimini, so happy to be crossing with an experienced captain before making the trip on my own. Let me know if anyone else will be there to say hello.
Really COVID outbreak? It was back to normal a few weeks ago, no one wearing a maskBimini now has a curfew starting tonight 7pm-5am and all bars are closed

I was there last weekend and the curfew was hardly enforced. We were told that we were to remain onsite (RW) past 7 pm, but I saw ppl coming and going. The casino and all bars on the property were full on and crowded. Resort staff were asking guests to put on the masks while in the interior walkways and at the casino tables, but that was it. The curfew press release seemed like an attempt to discourage a massive influx over the holiday weekend.
Thank you sir! I had her wrapped a little over a year ago.On Thursday, in Boca on the ICW, while I was teaching a guy to handle his new to him 32’ Scout, I saw your boat. When we got close, I could not believe your boat was a Sea Ray! Beautiful paint job, beautiful boat!
Lol... I agree they lack in the "customer service" side of the business. I don't use the facilities but have seen it looking nasty some weekends. I am a sucker for the nice docks only and the resort area. I only deal with Phil and David so if i need something they seem to make it happen. I wanted to try the "under new ownership" Bimini Sands in South Bimini since it is closer to get in and out but was voted down by my crew.Man....I hope the staff at Resort World are doing a better job of maintaining the facilities. Was there not too long ago and the restrooms/showers were wrecked, they never had any ice available and staff was not existent....until I found them all hanging out in the a/c office.
The floating docks etc are top notch but they need to keep up with keeping it clean.
When we do our Exumas trip we are just going to stop for fuel top off before the run to Chub/Nassau and then Staniel Cay.

When are you going to the Exumas? How is your fuel burn in the gasser from Bimini to Chub? Can you make Bimini to Nassau? I really want to make another run this year to Chub for a extended weekend but time is running out.
