I know this has been discussed before but I can't seem to find the thread. I am looking for the bimini pad eyes that the forward bimini straps clip onto. The center to center spacing of the bolt holes is 1 1/8" on my 2007 240 Sundeck. Various replacements I've found have a larger spacing.

There was a discussion about these on this site in the recent past and I cannot seem to find it. Does anyone have a source or a link to the proper sized replacements so I dont have to fill and drill holes in the fiberglass?

Thanks in advance.

My 2019 SeaRay has the same size. Try a Westland part # 7031, or call the company that built your top.

Just to be clear, is this for an attachment just forward of the windshield?
Any other pics?

I will check with GLBT tomorrow - they are the sister company of Westland. I am pretty sure they will have them - just need to find out what the shipping cost is going to be.

Don't want to hijack your thread but my boat has that velcro strap forward of the windshield on the port side, also.

Can not for the life of be figure out what it is there for.

Doesn't that snap to the walk through windshield to hold it open?

You should ALWAYS use it when the windshield is left open. Bodily injury and/or broken glass are common when the wind slams it shut.

Thanx for the reply. Didn't think of that, as my walkthru is never open, unless anchoring.

I'm not finding it https://s3.amazonaws.com/srweb-pvt-...550/static/parts-manuals/2007__2007-240SD.pdf I saw 32 EYE, STRAP EYE TIE-DOWN on page 13/15 but that was it.
My bet is Dealer installed. Dammed if I can find one that matches your measurements.
That IS the part number. If the top was a factory option, then the strap eye is OEM, not aftermarket dealer.

Its not a common size, for sure. But that's what Westland uses. My factory installed top is a Westland.

I checked in with Great Lakes today and we can definitely get the strap eye replacements. While they are relatively inexpensive shipping is the limiting factor. They also have two different styles - the "standard strap-eye" they also have a "high-back strap-eye". The standard is chrome/nickle and the high-back is stainless. The standard would be the one used on most Sea Rays and the high-back is typically used on Boston Whalers to accommodate a large hook.

If anyone needs some let me know and I can order a bunch here and distribute by US Mail.

Thanks Kevin. I ordered a pair of Taylor Made 1225 strap eyes. FYI it has an OEM Great Lakes Bimini top.

I’ll let you know how they fit.

OK so the Taylor Made 1225 strap eyes are also too big. Kevin, I'll give you a call late today.

I spoke to Great Lakes and they sent me pictures of the 101060 strap eye. It looks to be the correct one. I ordered 10 of them. I'll follow up here in a few days once i have them in hand.

FYI for future reference the Great Lakes 101060 strap eyes are an exact replacement.
