A lot of the pumps are held down by first anchoring a plastic base to the bilge floor, then the pump clicks into that base. Many of the older pumps can be released from their bas by giving them a counter-clockwise twist. It's possible (like mine was) that some foreign body is stuck in the impeller, and can be simply cleared to start running again.the pump has stoped working, as I don't have a maintenance manual, does anyone know how difficult it is to replace the bilge pump
Colin, there is no "maintenance manual" for these boats so don't look any further for that. No such thing exists. The general consensus is that if you're going to do your own wrenching on boats is that you can "figure it out" Of course, this forum does help!the pump has stoped working, as I don't have a maintenance manual, does anyone know how difficult it is to replace the bilge pump
