My 1999 210 SunDeck has a bilge pump but NO hose. I know where the port that expels the water is located, but can't figure how to get the hose to it. There are no access panels close enough for me to reach it. Any thoughts? Do you remove the plastic port on the hull and feed the hose in? That doesn't seem the way to go.

Won't work by removing the overboard discharge / working from outside, as you would need to feed the hose clamp through. Aint gonna happen.

Sometimes interior panels need to be removed. Usually it a case where one needs to be a contortionist with long a$$ arms and ability to stand on head for extended periods. Some times it is done totally by feel.

Any pictures? If you can get the parts list / diagrams for the boat, may give you a hint as to what needs to come off. There will be a way, just need to find it.

I thought there was an access plate near the transom door?

Keep in mind that you may not have "direct" access - you may be doing the work blind with one hand. Sometimes, that's just how it is on a boat.

But, if there is nothing that you can remove (plates, speakers, whatever), then you're left with removing the engine so you can down into the bilge and over to then over to the fitting. Or, cut in an access plate in a good spot.
