Bilge blower not working on my 190 Sport!

First thing I checked was the fuse...can't remember but it was a 7 or 7.5. I even put a new one in it's place even though the other was good.

Run blower directly on independent battery source with a 7.5amp fuse on positive lead, if it runs your issue is definitely (maybe) not the blower

It should be 7.5 amps.

Check fuse for corrosion.

I'm wondering if maybe there's an issue with the switch as I would expect that before an issue with the wiring. Maybe jump + & - 12V to the downstream side of the switch to at least narrow down the "search"field. Sib, what are your thoughts on that?

Not a bad idea Dennis

Run a lead off of the positive battery post through a 7.5 amp fuse using an inline fuse connector and attach the free end of the inline fuse connector to the blower positive lead then ground the other blower lead (presuably the negative) that comes off the blower to a good known ground. If the blower works properly

then you are left with the switch and fuse holder itself.

Do what Dennis suggested: bypass the switch by " jumpering" it, clean fuse holder terminals
Question for Dennis: Does the blower circuit have a relay???

I ran out of time! It was time to go back to work today and my wife needs the boat for July 4th for a lake party so I took it in to the shop.
