When I turn on my bilge blower there is an annoying beeeeeeep that stays on for the entire time that the fan is on..

Does your boats do this also? What is the reason for it? Its not like leaving the blower on is hurting anything...So why thh alarm?

Can I disable it?

The manual states that when you are cruising at slow speeds that you should turn the bilge blower on, but with that alarm, it is impossible to without going nuts..

Not usual. Can yo utell the source of the beep?

It sounds like the beep is coming from under the seat (Port side) But I cant find exactley where:smt021

Are you sure it's not the blower just Screeching and sounding like a beep? I just had to replace my blower motor because it was screeching and I figured it was about to give out.

As the manual says you show operate your blower motor for about 5 minutes before starting the boat and during low speeds (no wake, min-wake) to keep the co2 from killing you. At high speeds your ok to turn it off as there should be enough air flow.

Ni, im pretty sure its a beep, but next time Im on the boat, I will see if its something screeching..good point..

I had an older boat before and the blower made a screeching noise that could be mistaken for a beep as well.

Problem solved..it was an alarm..the previous owner installed it so that he wouldnt leave the blower on when hanging around..hence killing his battery.....

Soooo, where are my wire cutters??:)
