Bih 2011

Funny man. Why don't you wait until it's over? Then it won't be so much effort.

You might be able to con Cruise Director Ron into maintaining your page one list like he is doing on the AC 2011 post.

I talked with Hans the other day and I am sure he is coming as well so you can add Hans, La Dolce Vita, 38DA

.....Frank H may come by car (a non-stick-shift diesel Corvette, I'm guessing) .....

Hey....you must have missed what we said over on the 'other' site.....I'm driving down next to Frank H in my stick-shift vette.....that is...if my knee heals by then....

Don't laugh at my diesel Corvette......Took a long time to find a fresh water (or is it raw water?) cooled 3126 that would fit. Go CATERPILLAR !!!!

Now back to the "other" place,

I think the consensus is that osd9's old, broke-down, worn-out knees won't push in a clutch any longer. Impulse III may have some old, broke-down, worn-out parts, but, whatever they are doesn't affect his ability to handle the 'vette.

Osd9 is gonna have to take the city bus to BIH. Or, maybe have Mrs. osd9 drive him.

bad knee is the right knee.....clutch knee still works fine. Heck, even my bad knee is good enough to push the throttle. Now, where the problem lays is in getting in out of the damn thing.......

Well, if you can use your walking cane to push the throttle and get yourself INTO the car and over to Baltimore, some of us less broke-down fellows can get you out.

I've seen them do it on COPS a bunch of times. Smash out the window and drag you through the opening. Sounds easy enough...

A Taser would help! I'm sure we could come up with one. If nothing else it would be fun to watch!

It's a convertible.....all's that's needed is a winch.....

Sounds like a great opportunity for the Baltimore team to design, build, and test our pig hoisting contraption.

If we can get the Jersey team to do the same at the AC get together, we can have a final competition down south al la Junk Yard Wars. The only "rule" change is that it would need to be built from 100% Bayliner scavenged parts.

Who's bringing the Honda generator and the welder? Do we need to call ahead for permission to weld in the "party tent"?

Lastly, Gary may drive up from down south if his wife will give him the keys to the minivan.

UPDATE AS OF 2/10/11
I have confirmed Saturday June 25th for the gathering. They are holding the tent/"party pad" for us.

Here's what EACH CAPTAIN needs to do:

Contact Millie at Inner Harbor East Marina either via phone at 410-625-1700 or via e-mail at harboreastmarina@harboreast.com and let them know your intentions. They will need the usual particulars: Your name, cell number, boat name, length, beam, draft, power requirements. The "official" event is Saturday, if you want to come early or stay late, that's fine too. Let Millie know you are with the Club Sea Ray group.

This year they are requiring a $70 deposit for each boat. This can be paid via check (mail--- see address below) or credit card. They ask that you NOT send CC info via e-mail, but you can call Millie with your CC info.

They have moved to a flat rate system based on slip size:

30' - $72.00/night
40' - $94.50/night
50' - $117.50/night

plus $8 for a single 30A or $16 for dual 30s or a 50A electrical connection.

Also, A THIRD NIGHT IS FREE (EXCEPT FOR ELECTRIC) if you are so inclined.

So for those of you who are in... please take care of this... I promised her 20 boats!

Unfortunately, I am out for now. My step-granddaughter is graduating from high school in Upstate New York. My son says I have a must attend invitation. :smt089
