Wow!! That's huge for that part of the city!! Buzzards Point has always been in a less than desirable section of SW and the lack of mass transit doesn't help. This could be really exciting and bring some more options to the water travelers as well. I, for one, don't always want to go all the way into Georgetown to grab lunch or something. I hope it comes with a marina, for transients!! :)
 
Wow, those are some big changes! Hopefully it will open up some new boating destinations!

Thankfully James Creek is owned by the National Park Service and they are required to get approval for rate increases. This season is the first rate increase in five years and it was only $1 per foot.

Fingers crossed slip fees don't go crazy.
