We finally made the trip up to the meadows today for a lunch cruise. It is a very enjoyable spot for hanging out without any boat traffic to bounce you around. I'm adding it to my list of good spots to chill out. List so far:
- Big berm by Westgage landing
- Mildred Island
- Potato Slough
- Hog Slough

Anyone want to share any of their favorite hang out spots?

Just read your post. The outrigger on 3 mile slough is a great place to be on a warm summer afternoon. They have live music on the deck and pretty good food. By the way, where is the meadows located? I have not heard of it. Thanks

What ever happened to Lost Ilse? It was such a great place years ago then the youngsters took over and made it like The Giggling Marlin in Cabo (wait, is that bad?). I heard it was shut down?

The gang members from Stockton began to shoot each other at Lost Isle and the county pulled their license. In Potato Slough there are three anchorages known as the Bedrooms that are nice to hang around in. I would also add Hog slough (toward Stockton), second or south entrance.

Maybe we will see you out there when it warms up a touch Bill! I have not been hanging in the delta for years so I need to refresh my memory and find new places!

I forgot about the Outrigger and the karaoke bar. It is a pretty fun spot on a Sunday afternoon. There is one waitress that should be on American Idol. Another good spot along those lines is the Riverboat on the Mokelume. They have a live band on Sunday and some very good beers on tap.

The Meadows is up by Walnut Grove. I usually take the Mokelume to Lost slough and follow the signs. It's houseboat city in the summer, but off season it's pretty nice.
