Best Replacement Ski Mirror

the threads on my factory mirror on 2008 sport 205 are stripped, so mirror just bounces around. what is the best replacement ski mirror for boat. I can't find a highly rated mirror, looking for suggestions

(We’re sort of “in the same boat” (pun intended) - we didn’t opt for a mirror but now, certainly wish we had.

WE ALWAYS HAVE A DEDICATED SPOTTER on board and second to the driver but, all the drivers agree, even with constant 360’ scan, a rear view mirror is additional safety.

Am looking at Amazon, etc. for a mirror with hardware made to fit the windshield frame, etc.) and coming up empty, thus far.)
dtom, I will certainly let you know if we find one; in mean time, hoping a member here can point us to THE replacement!

In my opinion CIPA is pretty much the gold standard in boat mirrors and offer a few different models depending on your boat and mounting location.
 
Ordered a CIPA 7"x14" universal mount earlier this year for our runabout (Monterey 200LS). Clamps onto the windshield and seems to work pretty well. Was about $50.00 from Amazon.
 
I got mine from overtons, a large CIPA brand. Fits great. I mounted it to the underside of the pass thru windshield, with screws instead of the clamps, It doesn't interfere with the cover, and we never take it off. We have been very happy with it.

Overton's no longer carries the one we purchased unfortunately

I have a brand new original Sea Ray mirror off my 2010 260 Sundeck kicking around in my workshop. It has a number of plastic inserts to accommodate different windshield frames and that black visor if you know what I am talking about.. I am out of state so no pics...
