Best Places for dingy use on Great south bay

Hey. Barrett was real nice. No Problems. Except for my Line detaching from my Anchor, Soft sand, buried real deep. but I did find it. Thanks god for my second anchor.
Back to Barrett: Easy Drop off. Quick walk over to the beach. Nice Barbecue with only a few people. Will return. John. G

JOhn or anyone who may know,
At Barrett is there an area to anchor with any depth. I have been there twice and Once anchored up and the tide went out and I was in a bit of sand. Next time couldn't find a spot with more then 3 feet of water anywhere close and it wasn't low tide. (This made me buy a little inflateble so I can anchor in some depth and get in) I have a 280 sundancer. Maybe east of the dock or a certain spot that might be a little deeper? Any answers would be great. Thanks.
