"Best" engine for the 260?

Hi all,

I'm new to the forum, and this is my first post!

I have a very subjective question:

I'm shopping for a pre-owned 260.
What's the "best" engine?
I'm currently looking at boats with 5.7, 6.2, and 7.4!

Normal boating for me will run from an hour cruise around the lake, with the occasional weekend trip.

Of course I realize that fuel economy goes down with engine size - just looking for a few opinions.
