Bent stock Bennett Trim Tabs on 2006 290DA.
Possible to fix or have to replace? They are not straight/flat. They have bowed "up". I suspect heavy seas for several hours on a trip this summer unless the marina's forklift bent them taking boat out of water (yes, tabs were in up position).
Wondering if bending them back is OK and if so best method to do so.
Thanks in advance.

post some pics and i bet tabman will be along shortly.

Bay Bs,

Yes can you post some pictures please? Also include the measurements of the Tabs as well. That way I can give you a better idea what might have caused the bends and what may be the best way to fix / replace them. It is very unusual for rough seas to bend the Tabs.

If it is easier you can just send the photos to tabmanhelp@gmail.com

Hi, I saw this thread but could not see the conclusion. I have a SeaRay 215 Express Cruiser and I thought I had raised both the Trim tabs, but unfortunately had only raised one. When the fork lift got under it, they bent the tab up. How can I gently bend it back into shape if this is possible please?
