Hi all!

I replaced my HPU and my trim tabs are back up and working! Thanks for the help. I also replaced the plastic around my trim tab control toggles. I was super careful not to mess up the wiring, however I may have swapped the two plugs somehow. (Or maybe the old unit was somehow wired different, which I find hard to believe since its only 4 wires in one harness plug) or maybe someone messed with the old unit (used boat with a couple owners before us)

Either way, question is....

If I adjust the toggle on the port side, should it operate the trim tab on the port side? (Obviously same for starboard)

Or is it crossed. Toggle on port side operates starboard trim tab

It's supposed to be crossed. Thinking terms of the movement of the bow NOT the transom. To make the starboard bow go down, the port tab has to deflect downward. So if that is what you are seeing, its correct.

cross

Yup, normally set up from the factory to work so the boat responds in the direction the controls are pushed. But if you desire them to work on the same side that's fine too.

So they should be crossed. Ok cool! Thanks!!
