So just bought this boat knowing bellows would need replaced next year. Pulled the boat this past Saturday due to flooding and are thinking of just calling it a season and getting it ready for winter storage. Started thinking to save time in the spring maybe get the bellows done now before winter. Any reason not to? Next spring I plan to get some canvas work done and maybe install a windlass depending on budget so thought about having the bellows done now so thats less that needs done in the spring. I will be having a shop do the bellows.

Reasons why it might be a good idea to wait? It's a BIII but that shouldn't matter.

No reason to not get it out of the way now so you can get an early jump on Spring boating.
I always try to do all I can in the fall so all I have to do is add more wax, paint bottom, add new zincs and go in the Spring.

Timing might be right.

The shop not backed up yet with winterizing and/or if you wait until spring all the folks who procrastinated with repairs.

Thats what I was thinking
