-Do you leave/remove fire extinguishers and flare kits?

-Do you leave your sunshades (in the portholes) open to allow light and discourage mold or close everything?

-Do you leave all of the cabinets open a bit and the door to the head open to allow air to circulate or, especially with new boats, just close everything?

-In addition to the normal spots in the cabin, do you put damp rid in cockpit under-seat storage bins?

In the last few years, I have tarped as opposed to shrink wrapping.

I left the fire-extinguishers on. . .but removed the flares and all other removable safety equipment (not so hard: I keep it all in one plastic box)

I keep all cabinet doors open, fridge open, bathroom door open, and main cabin slider about 1/2 open.

-My tarp covers the portholes

-I leave all of the cabinets plus the refrig open a bit and the door to the head open to allow air to circulate.

-I place about 5 -6 damp rids in cockpit, in the head, on the fore and aft beds, in the engine compartment, and on the table. I never have any mold or smell problems in the spring.
