Bed size- Bedding for 400SB

I'm just purchasing 1997 400SB- 3116 Cats.- and any tips or observations would be appreciated.
Especially interested in Master Stateroom bed size and best way/ideas to make original looking mattress comfortable - what size is the mattress? (can't take measurements myself as boat still with broker 75 miles away)

When I lift the mattress in the master, there was two large cutouts in the bed which were only covered by material... obviously no support there. It always seemed to sag there, now I know why. I will be adding plywood under the mattress to stiffen it up. If you are looking to replace the mattress, try fpmarine.com

We added a 3" memory foam mattress (Costco) on top of the existing one and had an upholstery person cut it to a template. 100% improvement.
