Well the wife had to work, the kids wanted to do there own thing so I went out to take some pictures on a beautiful summer night. Ended back at the boat and cracked open a bottle of wine for inspiration.

That is a very cool shot indeed! Now back to watching the Giants win game 2 of the series against the Braves!
 
Thanks everyone appreciate the nice comments! Added another pic, This was a 27 second exposure on a tripod edited in Lightroom and tweaked in Photoshop CS6. Hope you like :)
The problem with shots like this is the long exposure is great for the sky but the wind adds to the movement of the boats and causes them to be blurred.

Wow, those are amazing!

I'd sure like to hear more details on how you did what you did. I get the exposure part, what I can't figure out is how you removed the blur of the boats as you mentioned. Is that what the software will do?

Dude, those are amazing!! Well done, I'm always impress by you Canucks! I am guessing there is a lot of post editing with effects and such.
