Baytown, TX anyone?

Son was just told he will probably be going there late September or early October for work. Probably be there 6 months and will be taking his camper.

What's it like there? Environment? Weather? Crime?

Baytown is really a "suburb" of Houston. Baytown is a heavily industrialized area. There are a number of RV parks in the area, he shouldn't have too much trouble finding a place if he goes that route. Be sure to ask about flooding as this area is prone to that.

Thanks for that. He works for a company that does gas pipeline stuff. He is the safety coordinator. Not sure if they have already started the job or not but he mentioned something about working on an island but he isn't sure of the details yet.

Probably Bolivar. We keep our boats just South of Baytown in Seabrook or Kemah. It’s a great place right on Galveston bay. If he needs and guidance just let us know!
