Battery setups

Good day, read many posts on having proper batteries for startup and remainder of items.
Can anyone recommend any good brands/ideas/setups for SR 340?

I was thinking of installing extras for each but not sure if this is realistic/possible in terms of room and connections.

Do you have the OEM 4 battery setup currently? If so, that's generally more than enough for most of us. I imagine your boat came with Group 27 batteries. You could always go with Group 31 for a little more capacity but you'll want to check your wiring setup first. On my 99 340 the wires were setup in such a way that the extra height of Group 31 batteries would have require rewiring. Huge PITA.

Good brands....well that's like asking who has the most attractive first mate. I like Duracells. They're made by Deka, good for 3-4 seasons and are cheap...
