Battery drain and equalizers

Hi there

I have a battery drain issue , have always had it with this boat. In a matter of days fully charged banks of batteries will go flat with all the systems shut down. These are brand new batteries as well.

Both 24 volt banks have vanner battery equalizers. I have a feeling these may be bad and or need calibration.
Question is could a bad battery equalizer put a draw on your batteries. Or even cause a bank to reverse polarity ??
Trying to get to the bottom of this battery drain problem and figured I would start with the equalizers.

Anyone got any idea how to chase down a source I a battery drain?
