I am going to replace one bank of batteries
On my 450. Currently have two group 27’s on the stbd bank and was going to buy two group 31’. I don’t think they will fit in the case that is currently in the bilge. The case is plastic with a top that is held in place by a couple of cotton pins. I’ve seen dual cases that were hundreds of dollars online, anyone have a source for a similar style of case? Other thought was buy two single battery cases. Any thoughts?

I like these hold downs for my batteries with the rubber terminal covers added to the cables for safety. These types of hold downs are nice because they keep the batteries in place even in rough seas I’ve found.

The trick to installing these types of rubber covers is to use a sharp knife or scissors to cut longways where the wire goes through and then you can push it over the wires without taking everything apart and then secure it with a zip tie.
