Hi, I have a 220DA with a 5.7 Mercruzer, I have a book that explains engine wiring but nothing on the cabin. My plan is to hook up two 6volt golf cart batteries and isolate them for inverter and cabin lighting. I do have a switch in the engine compartment, this isn't convienent as I would like and the starter batteries run down quickly when using the inverter even if I'm just making coffee. So my plan is to hook up the 6volt in series and use a RV type battery isolator. Any information on how to do this or where I can find wiring diagrams for the haul would be appreciated, thanks.
