FYI

Just repalced by Kirkland (Costco) Group 27 battery after 4 years on 1999 Sundancer 260. Repalced it with a Delco Marine Group 27 from Sam's Club.

The other Kirkland battery died last year (lasted 3 years) and I repalced it with an Advanced Auto Marine Group 27.

Let's see how these work out. Kirklands were ok and dies about when expected.

When my batteries were do for replacement, I elected to buy a new Group 27 Deep cycle Marine Interstate like the original. I replaced the other group 27 with 2 Costco 6V golf cart batteries. They've really been great and extend our house bank.

Just read a consumers report that stated the Kirkland (Costco's) marine/deep cycle were very highly rated.
Unfortunately for me, I found that over the winter my batteries were "dead" after being on my Sterling Pro Charge, and I replaced with ones from Menards (budget tight.... expecting a little one). After accidentally leaving the radio on overnight, the new ones dies, even though they were also on the charger. Turned out the inline fuses were blown. ARGH! May not have needed replacement... Oh well. Old ones were 7 years old, Delco Marine. 2 years ago I refreshed them with a desulfurizer, and made a huge difference.
