Barcode stickers on outdrive

Are these typical on a new boat/new outdrive? Or maybe my drive was remanufactured?

That's correct. What do you have... Like 20 or 40 hours on the engine?

1st owner put on 99 hours for 5 seasons; I added 20 or so last year. It was always stored on the trailer - that's likely why the stickers are still ledgible..

Usually they start to show much more wear by then. But, then, it's also due to how those hours were put on.

I just painted my outdrive and sanded off these barcode labels. On my 2003, they were no longer legible. I didn't have as many stickers as you though!
