Baltimore Inner Harbor 2009

OK, looks like I'll be there after all. Still trying to hammer out whether I can make it Friday also, or just Saturday, but we'll be there for the pot luck on Saturday night.

... and I have a margarita machine so Stan won't have to dinghy his over.

Guess where I am???

Currently the Brazilian Navy has a 3 mast sail sail ship tied up at the dock in front of Hooters. Free tours. Post pics later.

Too bad they lock down the marinas where you can not walk around looking at boats.

Bummer... I won't be able to get anywhere near my boat until late Sunday afternon, so I definitely will not be able to make it.

I hope you guys have a great time. Keep it safe.

Maybe BIH 2010 will happen on a weekend that I will be in town.:smt089

Thanks Larry - looking forward to seeing you. Bring your cigars!

Hey, you took a picture of my boat in the marina on the right! On my way there now - will you be around Saturday? We can get you over to the BIH outing.

So, we had a pretty good turn-out from the Sedan Bridge contingent:

And kudos to the Occoquon crew for making the long trek to BIH! There were also some dancers... Skip's boat is out there on the end just past Josh's 36DB...

Here is the crew after returning from the "meatstravaganza" at Fogo de Meat. Nothing like stogeys and scotch to wash down that side of beef!

You can pretty much tell that a good time was had by all when you wake up in the morning and see the tent looking like this:

I'd better go clean up that mess, or they'll never have us back.

Anyway, it was great to see/meet everyone and it looks like most of us will be reconvening in Cambridge in a few days.

I'm gonna go lite up a stogey in absensia.....and I'll have a bloody mary for breakfast to toast ya'll too.....have fun and a safe trip home!!!!

That's it? I want to see a story! Did Skip bring his "bully" to protect him? Did he have 14 people on his boat and his redneck sat dish mounted on the bow? Anyone bring a goat this year? I WANT PICTURES AND A STORY!!!!

You're the pictures and a story guy. I had to run out to buy a camera 'cause I left mine at home. The battery wasn't charged until later in the evening. This is the best I can do... Sorry!

It was a great time and a pleasure meeting all of you. The morning tent picture is classic. There are some pretty good stories there like the 1/4 full bottle of scotch and the RC sundancer and of course the floater margarita pitcher...

Thanks to Festivus' selflessness there would be no pictures!!! Can't believe we forgot our camera also!!!

Next year there needs to be an RC sundancer regatta and a kids fishing derby... Did any of the kids catch anything????

We had a great time, nice to see everyone again and meet some new folks! Thanks for puting it together Tim!

We had a great time as well and thanks to everyone who attended and made us feel so welcome. Here are some pictures.

That would be me, next morning after drinking beer in the afternoon, followed by Larry’s Martinis, then Saki at dinner, and then more beer and some wine that evening. Oh my head!:smt101

I think Tim should get the “Docking award”, having to come in without raking the side of the boat with Larry’s anchor. Good job Tim! Larry did a great job as well coming in second but lost some points due to excessive bow thruster usage, but he got a free boat wash out of the deal. Oh yea, almost forgot Tim goes away with the “Fearless Dog” award as well. Larry makes the best martinis though. Skip will get the “Parent award” for keeping the kids on the dock and out of the water.
