Great place for a weekend or longer. Would love to join you, but have other plans. Rent a golf cart and cruise the island. Great beaches, restaurants are so so. The grocery store has a good breakfast and lunch. Have fun !!!!

It was a nice trip, I enjoyed it.
I also enjoyed Eb & Flo's restraunt, they had a great loaded burger that tasted great. The marina gave me a $20.00 coupon to eat there also. Can't beat that. $32.00 meal for $12.00...nice.
The island is nice, and the houses are neat. Very ornamental and colorful. The marina is protected, but there were still whitecaps in the basin due to high winds. The fetch is long in there. The boats were bouncing up and down at dock but it wasn't so bad you couldn't sleep. In fact it kinda rocked me to sleep. I enjoyed it. I'd like to return to play the golf course. One day.
Oh, I must disclose that the restraunts do not open till 9am. The window washers had to wash off my nose and finger prints from the windows because I was wanting COFFEE! haha
So if you wake early and need coffee, don't forget to bring the coffee maker. That's how I saw it. Very friendly marina staff, and nice facilities.
