I have a 2007 44ft Sedan Bridge, and there is a bad smell coming from the fresh water tank / faucets. Any ideas. And where can I buy a new fresh water filter???

Why don't you clean the tank? Putting a filter on is like spraying Glad into the air after someone farts. The poop molecules are still in the air... it's best to remove them instead of covering them up.

The tank has been cleaned three times , flushed with cloro. Someone from Sea Ray said this always a problem with this boat. They have suggested to flush the tank with vinegar. Trying to find out what other people have done.

Hogwash...

All boats will get smelly water if it is allowed to get stale. Even worse if someone ever puts lake water in it (I know someone who made that mistake).

When I bought my 420 last year, it had smelly water. I emptied it - both hot and cold. Then put 20 gallons in and flushed it - ALL faucets - including washdowns and transom shower. Repeated this twice.

Then put in about 4 oz of bleach and filled the tank to the brim. Everything smelled clean at that point, so we used the water and everything worked fine.

Every time I fill up now I use StarBrite water conditioner powder. No problems since.
