Bad Gas ???

whats the chance you can get bad gas today.used the boat the last three weekends and this pass weekend i filled it up.drove a short trip stop for lunch and no start,tow in by sea tow.(thanks 4 sea tow)marina call me today and said dirty gas? maybe from the marina gas or was in the tank already?
i whould think if tank had dirt in it it whould have happen aready at least in one of the last 3 weeks from driving the boat around...dirt in bottom of tank has to get bounced around while driving...also called the marina that i got gas from no picked up the phone..??? like to see it they whould. say anything????nj manoloking fuel.!!!

I had a similar problem last week with my boat. Turned out to be a failing electric fuel pump. Test box showed a fault code for low fuel pressure.I could also hear it making weird noises. I am meeting with the mechanic Friday morn to see if it can be changed without pulling the engine. I was going to change it myself but it is so tight on my 240 I can't even pull the plastic protective cover off of the fuel pump/cooler assembly.

Before you replace your fuel pump check the fuel filter to see if it's plugged. The indications would be similar to low pressure from the pump.

just got the news (2 weeks later) 25 gal of water and new coolbox-fuel pump ect...b.o.a.t.............
