So what is the typical B3 impeller replacement schedule? Ours was replaced when we bought the boat in August 2018, Not sure what brand as the shop it was at did it. Put about 50 hours on it since. Probably gonna replace it this spring unless I hear otherwise. Temps are still pretty close to where they were back when we bought it. Usually around 170.

Should I replace the housing too or just the impeller? IIRC the shop replaced the housing when they did it. The housing does not have the blue plugs in it.

I thought I saw that Mercruiser lists a 300 hour replacement interval although I cant seem to find
Where I read that.

I replaced mine 2 years ago after 2 seasons and 100 total hours. It was in Very good condition.
My pressure and temp were consistent these last 2 years. I’ll go 1 more season and another 50 hours on this one.

I had mine changed after 5 years only because I thought it would be a good preventive measure. As it turned out it was fine. Watch your temp gauges. If it starts to go up. Its time to change it.
