I can get engine hours on the 703 but I will have to check where when I get back to the boat. I think you can get hours on one of the sidebars. Here is a pic of how I have my 703 set up when I run. Right side is a bit redundant to the middle but left sidebar shows my fuel detail

Unfortunately the 703 does not support the genny info. So you need to get the genny info converted into N2K somehow. Someone on here seemed to find a way to do this but it required some cutting of wires. I didn’t want to get into that so I bought a Onan remote panel that I will mount up on the overhead dash when I have a chance. The benefit of that for me was that I can start and stop the genny from up on the bridge. This is the same remote panel that Searay installed on the MAN powered 520DBs.

Jeremy:
Did the Onan Remote Display require a wire to be ran to the Gen or Electric Panel in the Salon? Same questions for the Cummins Vessel View, was that a plug and play unit?

Thank you

The Onan remote does require its own cabling to where ever you are going to mount it. Onan sells a cable but it is just individual wires wither he correct connector on the end, the wires are just wire tied and have no outside sheathing other than the individual wire sheathing so I bought 18ag 8 wire cable to run it to my mounting position. I still haven’t mounted it yet as we have been busy using the boat. For now I have it plugged into the tenant and zip tied to it so I can monitor vitals from the bilge.
Vessel view was plug and play as long as you have the correct cabling from Mercury. I didn’t get it all correct on the first try and had to buy a connector pigtail once I got into installing it and found out I was missing it. Also, the new vessel view runs off N2k backbone so you will need to install at least a simple n2k network at time of install. I ran a N2k backbone all the way from my upper bridge display down to the bilge so I can tie components into it as they are added.
