the annual "Red, White, and Blues" patriotic boat party will be on Saturday, July 3rd, 2010 on the St Croix River in Hudson, WI. Live music will be by "Zensome". I will need some volunteers to drive the pontoon shuttle boat.
Also, the second river party with a Hawaiian theme (with coconut bikini tops :) ) will be Saturday, July 31, 2010. Music by Billy Larson and "Vintage Raggs". Stay tuned for more details.
Thanks,
Gary

Awesome time. :smt038

be sure to click on the "Pictures" link up at the top, then scroll down to the bottom of that page and check out last year's party pics.

Shouldn't be any nudity but I guess it gets pretty wild

Yeah, I have been to 3-4 of his parties and I won't say I never saw a naked boobie, but it's not typical as the sheriff and the DNR patrol the area pretty well. They are not TOO crazy, but crazy enough to have a blast.

If you look at the pics from "8-1-2009 boat party with Lamont Cranston", I made a few of those:

#45 (I am the drunk guy )
#44 The blonde is my wife and the brunette is my buddies wife.
#25 I squeaked into the left side of someone's pic.
Pics 8, 64, 66 and 69-71 are a few of my favorites though.

Cool. Which one (July 3rd or 31st)? or both? Are you tying up with your boat? What is your boat's name?

I plan to tie up my boat. Look for me. :smt038

I'm shooting for the July 3rd but I just got the news the inlaws are coming down for a boat ride on July 3rd spending the night with us and then we are going to the Twins game on July 4th two rows up from home plate all the booz and food is free in that section then heading back to the boat afterwards to enjoy some fire works somewhere if I don't get drunk :)

The boat name is LB stands for Little Bastard. I will be the boat with two Schnauzers barking

Cool, look for me/my boat and we'll have a cold one. My name is Jeff, wife's name is Carrie.

Will do...my name is Justin and my wife's name is Molly. We haven't come up with a boat name yet but we are about 80% on Summer Fling

Question, if you tie up with the main group is it pretty hard to leave? Typically we tie up with a smaller group of friends right next to the main tie up because we wanted the option to leave whenever we wanted and didnt want to disrupt the tie up of the main group.

Justin

Not sure, we still had our little Larson speedboat last year and we were on the end, so it was no big deal. You may want to wait until most boats are tied up and then just latch on to the end. That way you won't get any traffic on your boat too.

Looks like a good time. The band sounds good-streaming tunes now. I'd like to join you. Our boat remains nameless - maybe that should be it Nameless in big blue lettering. Hmm.

The wind shouldn't be that big of a problem back in that protected area. We were planning on staying on the river for the weekend. We will swing by.

Go the marinemax website and you might want to reserve a spot. From talking to the gas dock guy in Hudson I guess they have a floating stage which might not be there this year but they have two rows one for overnight boaters the other for the day boaters. Last year they had about 150 boats there. I guess you can stay on the fringe and see just fine.

next week is lumber jack days in Stillwater and that gets pretty nuts I hear. More boaters there than the 4th and they start piling in on Thursday to get a spot.

Thanks, I may be going to Lumberjack Days next week, but not by boat. Too crazy!!! (and pretty far for me).

I'll check out MarineMax's website.
