Atlantique Marina - now run by Strong's & Grovers

We are not Town of Islip residents so never visited this marina before. For those who were not aware, the town leased the concession to a joint venture between Strong's & Grovers.

We were there this past weekend and had a great time and were impressed. Good sized marina, with attentive staff. We've been to Strongs out east and noted that they run a tight ship and Atlantique is no different. The dockhands were always busy cleaning or doing something. Was nice to see.
The shack had live music and the islander game going on Sunday.
It's about a half hours walk to Ocean Beach along the beach or a quick water taxi.

We will definitely be back.

Can you launch a dinghy? Do they have a dinghy dock?

Plenty of room to launch a dinghy. I did see a couple docked up on the end of the west wall but not sure if there is an official dinghy dock. We r supposed to be going back next week. I'll ask.

Any issues with depth at or near the boat basin? A fellow boater thought it might be an issue. I draw 44”. Thanks

None for me, I draw similar.
My buddy had his 58 there this past weekend and he also had no issues and he draws more than me.
