Atlantic City Rendezvous 2011

I would venture a guess that it won,t be to god awufull hot this summer concidering the bone chilling cold winter. But then again, who knows.

Just bringing this to the top in case anyone forgot about it. Did we mostly call and pay? Anyone else interested? PM me your boat name, LOA, Beam, electrical requirements and captain's name and I'll get it to Farley.

AC crew... I was talking to my friend Mike, who is a VP in Marine Max, on Saturday. Mike would like to add a couple of Marine Max boat for our viewing pleasure... What boat would you like to have at our Rendezvous? It will be our own private boat show...

That would be pretty cool. But are they going to bring the lobster?

52DB...

Rod - you serious? That's pretty cool. Nothing smaller than 34' I would imagine. You got that kinda pull?!

We are good friends, from Church... Mike suggested bringing some boats... I told him you guys would probably like to see some bigger boats... I would like him to bring a mechanic and some spare parts... Will the Rough Edges we playing this year??? We may go to the gig tomorrow...

I would like to try out the heads in the newer bigger SB boats and see if my legs dangle.

Rod, you have any pull at Farley? We could always have a dock party with a live band, if they allow it!

Would be great if you make it out tomorrow. Rudy will be there for sure.

I can ask my Uncle Don, or my cousin Donnie... Uncle Don has been busy with his TV show...

It's gonna be a full house over at the F dock again.....

Rod, that's pretty cool. Do they have 450DB they can bring? I'd love to see one in person and compare to mine.

If MM will participate in our rendezvous, next thing you know they'll add this to their summer events as MM/CSR AC Getaway 2012...LOL.

That is a possibility, are we for them added additional Sea Rays, or against??? This not been mentioned yet, but it is a possibility... BTW, I thought that some in our group would like to see some used boats owned by MM, that they might be interested in moving up to. I know there are some interested in diesel boats...

Rather than poll this group, I'd give the MM guy an idea of what type of SR owner will be there - roughly 20 boats (see post #1 - you can direct him to that post) a group comprised mainly of loyal SR owners and some other non SR owners - about 1/2 of which are in the mid-30s foot range, other half in the mid 40s foot range. Let them try and figure out the demographic and think about what boats are available and would be cost effective for them to schlep down there. I think it's a great idea! You know Bertram ain't doing that!

Emailed Dave the dockmaster today. He reminds me to remind all to call with your credit card info. Remember that you can still cancel if need be, up to 48 hours before departure, with no penalty. So please contact Farley!

Great minds think alike. I cut a pasted the first post in my e-mail to my MM friend yesterday. I will mention to him about having to bring the lobster...
