Atlantic City Rendezvous 2011

Lou...You reminded me of the photographers on a cruiseship.......'Smile'...'Ready?...1.2.3'....'everyone together now'....I say this in a well meaining friendly way.....with a little twist of sarcasim....So I hope you don't take this the wrong way.

Rick everyone thinks I was using my camera but I was using your camera. When do you think the pic's will be posted some where.

Rick has to finish photoshoping all the pictures with him or his boat in it before he post them......Probably going to make his boat look all shiney

Dom, Why are you "Walking on Eggshells"

I forgot I took a few pix, besides the video. So here goes...
The day started out beautifully. Here's Sto-a-way

The weather soon turned to $hit, esp for this poor soul, who strayed off the ICW (b/c of the fog?) just north of Little Egg Inlet...

Beautiful old timer, even for a snail-bloat. Leaving Farley...
100_2631.jpg

Bugsy looking SCHWEET on the mighty Atlantic - shown here running on two engines...

Old Pokey, leading the flock north into Little Egg Inlet. Look at that ocean. GORGEOUS! I think that's Sushi Hunter, followed by Kinship, followed by Boats-n-Mate (still running on two engines)...

Har... Har... Har! I'd show shots of "lil' Krissy III" coming along side... to help with my "Engine Casualty" but I don't have any 'cause you and Eric were already 3 miles away up the ICW!

Carter Chapman, You are hereby ordered to "Admiral's Mast" at 0dark30 on 16 July 2011 to answer for Charges that... You as a Former Member of US Navy did willfully and with out Reason not attend the NJ AC "Table Of Gods" to go to a "----hole in Southern Fla" to see the last shot of a Roman Candle that has Killed more Naval Aviators than the Japanese! As a Retired American Hero you are Entitled to "All Benefits and Money's" while under House arrest in a "Caribbean All Inclusive Resort" which Befits your "Rank and Privilege!

"Sir, Yes Sir"!

We sure missed seeing all of you again - and meeting some new members as well. I hadn't been to shuttle launch since my former squadron mate, Mike Smith, was killed on Challenger in '86. We were standing about 6' from his wife - not a fun memory at all.

Hopefully the GN will come through on their marina improvements and Gary won't need to bring his weed whacker for AC 2012!

Bugsy, that's the first time I ever beat anyone to any destination. This guy did his job...

Ok, you bunch of comedians. Some of us have to work for a living. I have the camera here at the office and will get the photos posted sometime before the close of business today.

And for those of you with the smart-ass shiney boat comments, there is no Photoshop involved. Only me and my Porter Cable.

I think this is simple for Next year... Lets do both AC and Schooners.. BTW Cape May is a great place to go, but their isn't a marina big enough to handle more that 5-10 transient boats. We can do two nights at AC (F/S). The leave on Sunday for Wildwood (S/M). Then leave on Tuesday. Beaches are free in Wildwood, and it is short ride on a bike to Cape May...

Great job and well organized! Next year or anyone else doing a rendevous, take a picture of each boat with the people and also show the boat name.....Easy being a Monday quarterback.....Great job AC!!!

They're still trying to figure out what to do with this guy. He can't figure out how big his junk is. I brought him a decal to put on the back of his boat, but, he keeps insisting it's a 380.

Rick, I'm kinda disappointed - you didn't clean up the exposures on any of the 67 photos. I think you should get a mac and it would do it all by itself.
