Hello everyone, the admiral and I are planning a little cruise to NJ in mid-July and want to stay in AC for one or two nights. It will probably be Wednesday-Thursday, so we won't be there over a weekend. We'd like to be within walking distance of casinos/restaurants, preferably not a loud party atmosphere, and wi-fi that actually works. I've been reading ActiveCaptain reviews, and it seems that Kammerman's is better than Farley State in terms of service. How about the proximity to restaurants and fun stuff? Are there any other choices?

I'd recommend you stay at Farley and take advantage of all the great facilities and restaurants youll have right there at Golden Nugget. It won't be loud for you midweek at all.

Farley's is the Golden Nugget marina and has all the amenities you could wish for, and walk to BUT Kammerman's is my favorite stop simply because it is owned and run by the nicest two people you could want to know. Chris and Stacey Kammerman have added a nice bar, they have fuel and will treat you like family. You can short walk to a couple more restaurants but not much else without an Uber. Only issue is their marina size lends itself to only a few slips so pre-planning is a must. If you have a small tender, then putting across to Farley's and the Nugget is a piece of cake.
-Farley's for all things needed in just a few steps, but can get loud if a great band is playing on the deck.
- Kammerman's for piece and quite and the hometown family touch.

my opinion only

+1 on both gerryb's and Capt. Rusty's suggestioins. The 'Admiral" and I go to the Nugget a lot of Sundays for lunch and its a great place. Been there midweek also and its very quiet. Kammerman's is great too. You can't go wrong with either.
ps, if you go to the Nugget, its a short walk to the Borgata casino(awesome) and The Water Club,,, just my .02c worth... Have a good trip !
