I am considering purchasing a 410 or 460 sun dancer 2001-2003
i have never been on a large sea Ray at sea, we live in delaware and would be using the boat mostly in the ocean for day and overnight trips. As you know in the afternoon we usually get 3-5' seas from the south east? Can anyone tell me how these boats handle? Any suggestion would also be welcome.

I'm sure there are plenty of owners here who can be specific but buy the larger vessel if it fits your budget.

Where will you be keeping the boat? I ask because some places like Indian River inlet can be a bear to run and could be a factor in boat type selection.

I'm in a 33 ft 13.6 beam at 18000 pounds dry and 4 to 5 foot is just a little uncomfortable. A 41 or 46 should be bouncy but comfortable. Give it a little while there's very knowledge guys in your area that have that size that will chime in

Delaware bay can kick up badly enough that even the guys on 48 and 50 footers will complain. More boat is better, but bad weather is bad weather.
