Does anyone know how the arch/spoiler is secured to hull?

Mine looks like it's shifted a bit and I'd like to realign it.
I'm assuming there are thru bolts from the arch to the hull? Would they be behind the vinyl pad/bumper?

Oh yeah that baby shifted. Does your canvas still fit? Did you buy the boat this way? The reason I ask is if this pre dates your ownership and your canvas fits, setting it right may trigger the need to buy new canvas. Did you or the previous owner have it shipped? The trucker may have unbolted the arch to reduce the vertical clearance and not done a very good job of torquing the bolts afterwards.

That vinyl covered partial disk panel does cover an access. How it comes off I don’t know. On our 280 is was just held on with screws. Maybe Christmas tree fittings? Inside there are through bolts. Problem is they may not be captured, so you’ll have to get to the other side.

You probably should contact Sea Ray customer service. They can tell you exactly how it’s constructed. Don’t panic if they tell you you have to dismantle most of the port side. You can shortcut that by using a large hole saw and cut your own access hole. You save the disc that gets cut out, and then a good fiberglass guy can stick it back in and make it look like it never happened.

There’s some debate about when it happened. I think it was like this when we bought it (not shipped). Admiral thinks it was recent. But canvas fits fine right now.

it’s pretty apparent that someone glommed a bunch of sealant around that vinyl bumper, so I suspect it’s been removed in the past.

I was thinking I could access lower attachment points through the storage compartment below the arch, but haven’t done any disassembly yet.
